This 11 page, mimeographed pamphlet is a collection of five articles on theology, the church, and homosexual liberation. This pamphlet is of particular interest as each article has an introduction which sets its context and offers information about Benton's activities, local events, and local groups. Two of the essays were presented at the Pacific School of Religion. An exchange of correspondence with Howard Wells is included

Benton wrote five articles that were mimeographed as the pamphlet "God and My Gay Soul," around 1971 by the Committee of Concern for Homosexuals.
