Description

The Donald Engstrom Papers contain a range of gay men's and Pagan periodicals from 1974 to 2015. A lifelong Radical Faerie, this collection demonstrates the communities and networks prevalant to Engstrom's life at the intersection of gay and Pagan culture. The bulk of this collection is a nearly complete run of RFD: A Country Journal for Gay Men Everywhere from the second issue in Winter of 1974 through the Summer issue of 2015. * For some of the publications in this collection there are only two or three issues, offering a snapshot of Radical Faerie content in their historical context. * The first issue of RFD: A Country Journal for Gay Men Everywhere, Fall 1974, can be found in the Iowa Women's Archives, Jo Rabenold Papers, Box 3, series: Organizations, Gay Liberation Front, 1972-1974, 1977.
