Rev. Canon Janine Stock
Biography

In addition to her Master of Pastoral Theology, Rev. Janine is a licensed attorney and holds both a J.D. and M.B.A., graduating with Distinction. She has been in a committed lesbian relationship for 10 years. She is a founding member of both Interfaith Clergy Committees supporting Marriage Equality California and San Diego Pride and a signatory on several amicus curiae briefs in support of same sex marriage.

She has recently released her first book entitled Made in God’s Image: Stations of the Cross for Inclusive and Welcoming Communities which is available through OurSpirit Publishing, Inc. located in Vista, California.
When discussing her ministry as an American Catholic priest, Canon Stock said, "We are proud to serve those that Rome, for now, has turned away from its table. This includes the divorced, the dissenters, the marginalized, the GLBT community and countless others. It is our prayer that we will all be united again, but until then, we intend to make the rich traditions of Catholicism available to all who wish to love and serve their God in this particular way.”
