This collection contains records from the Brethren/Mennonite Council for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Interests. The collection includes newsletters, programs, literature, and brochures, mostly related to Connecting Families. Connecting Families is a support network created by the Brethren/Mennonite Council that provides support for families with members who identify as LGBTQ+.
Hist/Bio Note
The Brethren/Mennonite Council was formed in 1976 to support LGBTQ+ members and their families in Brethren and Mennonite churches. The council also worked to foster dialogue about LGBTQ+ inclusion within the church.
