Hist/Bio Note
The Church of Symmetrical Pointlessness was founded in 1971 in response to local religious organizations being unwilling to be inclusive of GLBT peoples. It ceased operations by December of 1971 due to lack of interest with the formation of local Minneapolis and St. Paul congregations of the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC)
